As the devastating war continues and eventually makes its way to London, Lee becomes a war correspondent and officially gets credentials. She is one of the few women to have had war correspondent credentials at that time. The Brits actually deny her access, but the Americans give her the credentials and have her team up with an American photographer named David Scherman (played by funny man Andy Samberg). They take the first photos of London after the bombings and those are the photos that most of us are familiar with from history textbooks.
