Paradis City (2025)

Unfortunately not set in a town that worships French model Vanessa Paradis, the Swedish Amazon Prime Original Series Paradis City is set in a near-future where Sweden has been compartmentalized, with certain areas ruled by different sets of laws. In the titular city, the most lawless place in the country, the Minister of the Interior is abducted and held for ransom. Fredrika (Julia Ragnarsson), an agent of the Swedish Security Service or SÄPO, hatches a dangerous plan wherein she offers an imprisoned fighter named Emir (Alexander Abdallah) the chance to see his daughter again... save the abducted Minister. Taking more than a few of its beats from John Carpenter's Escape From New York (1981), the series does get some skin in the game in episode three when Kristina Morta Paškevičiūtė appears topless alongside several other uncredited women! The grass ain't green, but the girls sure are pretty!
