The world lost another Hollywood icon today with the passing of Teri Garr, the blonde bombshell known for her breakout role in the 1974 Mel Brooks' comedy classic Young Frankenstein and her Oscar-nominated performance in 1982’s Tootsie. The tantalizing talent had retired from acting years earlier after being diagnosed with multiple sclerosis before succumbing to the disease at age 79.

Teri got her start in the entertainment industry as a dancer, swiveling her enigmatic hips alongside Elvis Presley in his early 60s films and busting some tasty moves in a bikini in the Annette Funicello beach movie Pajama Party. She would eventually become a star in her own right, especially after her cleavage-heavy portrayal of Gene Wilder’s sexy lab assistant Inga in Young Frankenstein.

But Teri actually made her nude debut in 1970, when she appeared in the period crime dramedy The Moonshine War. A crook holding her and her hubby at gunpoint makes them strip down, and then we see the two of them running out to their car in the buff, giving us a quick look at Teri’s bare tush.

Teri would go topless for the first and only time in the 1982 film One from the Heart, then slipped into some silky negligees for 1989’s Out Cold and Let It Ride, but while she would experience a career resurgence when she played Phoebe’s biological mother on the hit sitcom Friends, we never did get more skin from the amazing actress before she left this earth for good.
