Born and raised in Macon, Georgia, Sasha started dancing at just three years old and after graduating from the Fine Arts and International Baccalaureate program of her high school, she went on to major in dance at Oklahoma City University. Sasha took her dance experience to the stage, and started appearing in musicals, making her Broadway debut in Memphis at the Schubert Theatre in 2011. In 2013, Sasha made her screen debut as a dancer on the NBC series Smash, appearing in five episodes, but kept her theatre career going and became one of the original cast members of Hamilton. Her other TV credits include stints on Blue Bloods (2016), Jessica Jones (2018), Fosse/Verdon (2019), and Elspeth (2024), but in 2025 Sasha nabbed a recurring role on the sci-fi comedy series Demascus as Budhi Banks. In the third episode, she strips down to reveal a lacy bra and panty set, then gets hot and heavy with the title character while trying and failing to get some dirty talk going. That’s the kind of Budhi we could all use!
