Across the River and into the Trees (2023)

Adapted from the 1950 Ernest Hemingway novel of the same name, this romantic drama centers on Richard Cantwell (Liev Schreiber), an American Army Colonel who travels back to Venice post WWII after learning his death via heart failure is imminent. What starts as a hunting trip turns into a one last passionate encounter when he meets Renata Contarini (Matilda de Angelis), a troubled younger woman in her own precarious situation who gives the Colonel a new appreciation for the city and its beauty. The costumer has Matilda donning some period-appropriate undergarments, but we never get the chance to see her out of them, so your eyes wandering across those silky bras and into her cleavage will have to suffice!
