Just as Henry (Devon Terrell) and his wife Catherine (Charlotte Hope) are about to make a big cross country move, Catherine gets diagnosed with terminal brain cancer and given not long to live. They head to her remote childhood home for her final days, where she makes Henry promise to bury her in the woods she grew up in. Henry vows to fulfill her dying wish, but after Catherine succumbs to her illness, Henry breaks that promise by buckling to Catherine’s wealthy politician father, who bullies Henry into giving her a “proper Christian burial” in the family cemetery plot. However, Henry’s failure to enact her final request isn’t his only source of guilt. Turns out Henry was having an affair with his friend and coworker Rebecca (Makenzie Leigh), who is now pregnant with his child. He starts experiencing paranoid visions and becomes convinced that Catherine’s ghost is out for revenge against him, Rebecca, and their unborn baby. That’s not an apparition, though; those are, in fact, Charlotte’s bare breasts briefly seen just over thirty-three minutes in as she’s readied for a bath. We’d love to be buried between those wonderfully round mounds!
