Bleeding Love (2024)

Real-life father and daughter Ewan and Clara McGregor star in this road trip indie set on a journey to Santa Fe following the daughter’s recent drug overdose. There’s a bit of art imitating life as Ewan plays a dad who has moved on from his first marriage and now has a new family, explaining why the relationship between him and Clara’s character is now strained. They climb in a truck and embark on a trip to visit an old artist friend as an excuse for him to reconnect and help his struggling daughter with her substance abuse issues since he’s a recovering addict himself. The road is bumpy -  in more ways than one - with auto trouble and a spider bite in the daughter’s naughty nether region being among the issues. The two do end up bonding during a late-night swim where we get to see Clara splash around in her panties, but it is hard to go nude when your dad is right there - even if that dad is Ewan McGregor.
