The German film Trust Me (2024) bills itself as a documentary about real life couple Alicja Rost and Sebastian Rost, who seem to have a rock solid relationship. In fact, Alicja is so secure in her relationship with Sebastian that she doesn't hesitate when he asks them to open up their relationship to a third person. However, a black cloud soon settles over their relationship as Sebastian, who was once an open book, begins acting secretively and suspiciously, while Alicja wrestles with the question of whether his behavior is actually changing, or just her perception of his behavior.
